Registration Terms
Registration forms must be postmarked
20 days prior to the event or a late fee/student will apply.
Registrations are noncancelable and non-refundable.
Cut-off may occur if quota is reached before the cut-off date.
All confirmations, schedules & cconvention
updates will be done via e-mail. Please contact On Cue LA
Dance to request a confirmation by mail.
Please Note: I.D. bracelets
must be picked up on morning of first convention day during
registration hours.
CATEGORIES FOR PARTICIPANTS
Teachers/Assistants – Age 16 & Up
Senior Students – Age 14 & Up or
6 + years of dance (advanced)
Teen Students – Age 11 – 13 or
3 -5 years of dance (intermediate)
Junior Students – Age 7 – 10 or
1 -2 years of dance (beginning)
Mini Students – Age 5 – 6 years
This is a suggested age recommendation.
It is up to the teacher’s discretion as to each individual
student’s capabilities.
ABILITY LEVELS
Seniors (Advanced): Triple pirouette,
double chaine, fouette turns, a la seconde turns,axles, tour
jete, second jumps, pullbacks & traveling time step.
Teen (Intermediate): Double pirouette, single
double chaine, single double pique turns, jete, double Time
step and riff walks.
Junior (Beginner): Single chaine, single pirouette,
pas de bouree, saute, jete, assemble, shuffles & flaps.
GENERAL CONVENTION POLICIES
Colored assigned wristbands must be worn for
entry into ballrooms, and must be worn throughout the duration
of the convention. If wristbands need to be replaced, your
old wristband must be turned in at that time.
Chaperones age 18 or older are required for
all participants during this event. On Cue LA is not responsible
for participants’ supervision during classes, bathroom
breaks, lunch breaks, or after event hours on hotel premises.
All dancers must wear cover-ups and shoes (no
tap shoes) when leaving the ballroom area.
No food or drinks allowed on the dance floor
at any time. Water will be available in each ballroom. No
dancing outside of the ballroom.
Please report all accidents and injuries to
a convention manager immediately at the registration desk.
On Cue LA staff may not distribute any medication to students.
Video recording devices and cassette players
are prohibited at the convention. Regular flash photos are
allowed.
Please respect the privacy of the hotel guests
and keep noise to a minimum. On Cue LA Dance reserves the
right to refuse admittance to anyone who is disruptive, unruly,
or displays rude, unacceptable behavior. |
